SIGNAGE QUESTIONS

I understand signage can be a confusing stationery item - there are so many beautiful styles and printing techniques available! Please read on and if you are unsure of what style or type or size sign you require or have any questions whatsoever, simply get in touch for a chat.

Sign Design Styles

I offer a range of signs including - but not limited to - welcome signs, seating charts, bar and beverage signs, order of events. 

Printing Methods and Materials

I most commonly work with premium smooth board, cardstock and acrylic.
Our board and acrylic signs will sit on an easel on their own, however a cardstock sign will require a picture frame to hold it upright on an easel.
** Please note, easels and frames are not included. I recommend talking to your stylist or venue to source what you require. 

Sizes & Shapes

The standard size is A1 (594 x 841mm) and suits a regular sized easel. I can, however, design and print to any size you need! Custom sizes will require a quote which can be provided within 24 hours. I am also very excited to now offer most of my sign designs in different shapes such as arch, long arch, circle, semi-circle, square and more (Acrylic and Smooth Board only). 

Design Questions - Wording, Colours, Shapes

My designs all show generic / popular wording options. Feel free to change this up!! Our wording will be replaced with your personalised / custom text.

Cardstock Signs - All colours and sizes. Rectangle only.

Smooth Board Signs - All colours, sizes and shapes are adjustable!

Acrylic Signs - Acrylic is only available in certain colours as listed on each product page.
The size and shape of your Acrylic sign is adjustable.

Production, Proofing, Timing and Shipping

Cardstock - 2 weeks for design, print and delivery.
Smooth Board Signs -
 2.5 weeks for design, print and delivery.
Acrylic Signs - 3 weeks for design, print and delivery.

Once I have your order details (and seating chart guest list) I will commence designing your sign and send you a digital proof of the artwork within 48 hours. Once approved, your sign will be sent to print.

When proofing your sign (especially a seating chart), it is recommended you have someone else double check for spelling errors too. Please respond with any revisions in a single email so I can make all your revisions at once - this will ensure the design stage runs smoothly and as quick as possible. 

I use various printers within Australia. Which printer will  depend on the style of sign you have ordered (acrylic/board/different shape). Your sign will be shipped via Australia Post or Courier and shipping timing can vary from 3-10 business days (within Australia) depending on your shipping address. In most cases, shipping is around 4 business days.
