The Signage Guide

Everything you need to know before choosing your wedding signage.

From materials and colours to shapes, sizes and display options, this guide will help you choose signage that feels right for your celebration.

Every sign is tailored with your wording, colours and chosen details, whether you’re drawn to softly draped fabric, polished acrylic or versatile foamboard. If you’re unsure where to begin, I’m always happy to help.

Foamboard Signs

The versatile modern favourite.

Lightweight, durable and budget-friendly, premium 5mm foamboard allows for full-colour printing and complimentary laser-cut shapes. Its soft matte finish suits everything from welcome signs to seating charts, and your colour options are endless.

Most couples choose 600 × 900mm for larger signs - a practical size for most easels. Backing struts are available for foamboard signs up to this size, while hole drilling is available for hanging.

Acrylic Signs

Polished statement pieces.

Available in matte, gloss, frosted, mirror and metallic finishes, acrylic signage brings a refined finish to welcome signs, bar menus and smaller styling pieces. Mirror acrylic is the best choice if you are after a true metallic finish, such as gold or silver. Add complimentary laser cutting, layered details or raised lettering for extra dimension.

Acrylic bases are available for smaller self-standing signs, or drilled holes can be added for hanging

Fabric Signs

Luxurious and tactile.

Fabric signs bring warmth, texture and a softly draped finish to welcome signs, seating charts, bar menus, memorial pieces and selected custom details - from reserved signs to personalised tablecloths.

Choose from white linen, satin, premium fabric blends, velvet or oatmeal linen for a warmer, organic finish. Fabric signs are printed on the front, leaving a clean white reverse side. Vinyl lettering is available on request if you have a particular coloured fabric in mind.

Popular sizes include 65x200cm for welcome and seating signs, and 50x150cm for bar signs. Eyelets, sewn rod pockets and hemming finishes are available.

Colours & Finishes

Choosing colours is one of the easiest ways to tie your signage into the rest of your celebration. Browse the colour charts below to explore acrylic options, ribbon colours and print finishes. We can often colour-match from inspiration images, too.

Shapes & Displaying your signs

Foamboard and acrylic signs can be crafted into a stunning array of laser-cut shapes, from sleek arches and gentle waves to perfect circles, playful scallops, and organic silhouettes. Each structural style is tailored seamlessly to match your design concept, event styling, and chosen display method. Most rigid signage options make their statement on classic easels or nestled into hanging frames. For pieces designed to be beautifully suspended or tied in place, a delicate ribbon offers the ultimate romantic finishing touch.

Our fabric signs can be completely custom-sized up to 140cm wide with tailored lengths to perfectly fit your venue installation. They can be finished with eyelets or a discreet sewn rod pocket, and hemming. Ready to drape from frames, arbours, exposed trees, or custom ceiling installations.

Ribbon ties add a lovely finishing detail, while cord, twine, rope, clips or hooks can also be used depending on your venue and overall styling.
